Three enjoyable connected stories, often implausible; but humour and sweet & sweaty romance makes it worthwhile. 

This was an okay read.  Didnt really feel much for a couple who got married but didnt really know each other that well.  I dont know I just didnt sense there was a great relationship there before the story started which is a little weird, like why did they get married?  But for an Intrigue I found it suspensful, I certainly had no idea who did it right to the end.

Take one food writer named Cranky Agnes, add a hitman named Shane, mix them together with a Southern mob wedding, a missing necklace, two annoyed flamingos, and a dog named Rhett and you’ve got a recipe for a sexy, hilarious novel about the disastrous side of true love…

     Another book from my most recent UBS trade... and it's one that I've been wanting to get for a while now ~ solely because of Janice Kay Johnson's story... I'm on a backlist hunt for this latest author to join my Favourite / autobuy author list.  
   The first two stories in this book ~ Jan Freed's and Janice Kay Johnson's ~ were everything I expected... plust a little more.  The third ~ jeepers.... I'm still trying to figure out just what I think or feel about Margot Early's contribution.  I don't know for sure if I've ever read anything else by this author ~ all I can wonder is if this story is typical of her writing.  Sure has me wondering I'll tell you that!  And I think that's a good thing....
