The Wedding Party

Maid of Honor Brenna Kelly has been fighting her feelings for her best friend's groom since they have been communicating about the wedding. Now her best friend Molly has fled from the wedding and her groom Josh is planning to stick around town until he can talk to her.

This was my least favorite and yet the one I was most anticipating. Molly, the supposed wonder girl was really a very insecure and even afraid little thing. All the other members of the wedding that she skipped out on, were I thought more likable. She did allow for some wonderful other couplings to occur so that is a Molly redeeming factor I guess.

I think this was my favorite of this series. The groom from the wedding-that-wasn't and his twin boys! What a handful the boys were and Brenna and her family were just so wonderful to and for all of the Towers family. Brenna and her insecurities which are so close to the issues so very many of us have. I enjoyed the arguments about whose house it should be too!

Loved the poison ivy in the park part! Colleen is a sweet character with some very serious self esteem issues. Nick, who really has some commitment issues is an interesting foil for her. They make such a cute but unlikely duo. I really liked this one.

Molly had cold feet just before her wedding and ran to her childhood friend Eric to sort her head out. Eric who had asked her to marry him aged seven and who had left her behind to join the marines despite her pleas and a night neither of them wanted to mention again.
It is a lovely ending to the wedding party where the characters meet up and each book has a different viewpoint.

Despite being left standing at the alter Josh was not dismayed. His was a marriage of convenience for his twin sons sake. However the redhaired voluptuous bridesmaid Breanna had already caught his attention and as he was staying with her family they became closer- rapidly (in the most unusual places).

Friend. Lover. Groom?

I have loved this series from the very first book and while I am sorry to see it end, I am very glad to see Molly finally get her HEA. Moly and Eric's relationship is wonderful and the conflict is strong. The fun part of this series was the fact they were written to take place simultanously so we get to see some of the interactions from the other person's POV. A great read.

It was a cute book. I particularly enjoyed the secondary characters. I am going to see if I can find the rest of the books in this series.
