Western Historical
Shotgun Grooms by Susan Mallery and Maureen Child ... QC #309
4 1/2 Stars! ~~~ These are two wonderfully lively stories with set-in-their-way heroes and the spirited heroines they marry.

The Redemption of Jake Scully
A Love Inspired historical with pleanty of action based on an incident over a gold claim. A saloon owner, the girl he vowed to protect and the people who want the girl's unknown claim. Lots of side characters who are well developed. Fast moving and also bible-based without any over zealous religious movement.
Kipnapped by the cowboy
Set in the late 1800's, a story of love and honor between son and mother and cowboy and heiress. A lively story with a great setting involving accidental deaths, horses and racing and vendettas. Very enjoyable.

Blood Truce (Wilderness #16)
I used to read lots of Louis L'Amour books in the 70's while on various Navy ships, and recently I've discovered the Wilderness series of Mountain Man tales by David Thompson.
