"20 Questions" with Senior Editor Brenda Chin

One of the lines we have the most questions about is Harlequin Blaze. So we've gone directly to the source--the Senior Editor who actually has the answers, Brenda Chin!

Show Not Tell Tips for Writers

Today I'm blogging over at Seekerville with Show Not Tell tips for writers, if you wanted to stop on by and see the REALLY long post I had. Geez, I'm wordy, LOL.

 Here's an excerpt:

In the Home Stretch!

Sorry to have been so quite the past week.  I was out of town over the weekend at a book festival (I'll post more about that soon!) and I'm in the home stretch of finishing my WIP.  I'm scrambling to finish it before I leave next week for RWA National in San Francisco.

So stay tuned... more to come soon.

Hope you're all staying cool and reading something great!

One Step Closer

I'm one step closer to having my story ready to shove out the door. I just got chapter 4 back from my crit partner, and it's all clean now. Woot! Only 3 more chapters to clean and my Bite will be ready.

It's Off!

My ms is off to London!  I’m a dancing!  :-)

Batman

Note to Self: I Am Not a Slacker!

It can't possibly be mid-July. Wasn't it just yesterday I wondered, will summer ever get here? Now it's here and half over. Various writing obligations are mounting. Deadlines are approaching. Instead of only worrying about what's yet to be done, I'm trying to recognize and celebrate things accomplished.

After Midnight

I've been cleaning up chapter 3 of my Bites story on and off all day Sunday, and just a few minutes short of midnight I sent it off to my crit partner for a looksee. Whew! I am now officially half way through the cleanup of my book. Woot!

In need of a critique partner

I signed up here with the hopes of hooking up with some other writers of my genre and sub-genre--erotic romance and urban fantasy. I read through the posts and there are a lot of writers in need of a critique partner but none yet that fit me exactly. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
