This is the second book in the Secrets We Keep trilogy published in 2007. Unintentionally, I left a long gap between books, but that didn't spoil my enjoyment of this story at all. Ryan is, as the blurb says, a beautiful, loving man, and Simone is a strong but tormented woman.

Simone is terrified that her secret will horrify Ryan and send him running, but on the contrary, he admires her for the strength which has enabled her to build a successful career while dealing with a secret that would destroy a lesser woman. He is exactly what she needs to help her come to terms with what happened in her past.

Another satisfying, emotional story.
