Hide and Seek - Blaze Aug 2006
Love the concept of the hero being secretly in love with the heroine, but due to certain circumstances isn't sure if he can trust her. The story has a bit of a lot things, mystery, intrigue, romance, sex. I love to see stories that combine danger with romance, but not over the top danger as I'm a total wimp when it comes anything too dark. :)
Basically the heroine comes from a Mafia family and has been placed in the Witness Project Program. The hero is asked to investigate her because of her past. The interesting twist he's already in love with her, but now has to deal with that as well as wondering how involved she is with her family business.
This book was given to me from Samantha herself, she even autographed it for me. I not a total Blaze addict, but this one I've hung onto and reread it from time to time.
Good job, Samantha :)

Hey Sandy Sue
Thanks! I'm honored to be one of your re-reads. I loved writing this book. I think it was the hero. There was just something about Nathan that I connected with, and I think it might have been a similar quality to Rafe in my current Talking in Your Sleep --I hadn't really thought of that before your post, so thanks. :)

Nathan is a totally great
Nathan is a totally great hero. So many romances, and I mean no offense when I say this to any author, have heroes that are so busy denying their feelings that can't see what is right in front of them. Those kind of stories can be fun too, but its nice to sometimes approach relationships from a different standpoint.
I'm currently reading My Wildest Ride by Isabel Sharpe. Blazes constantly amaze me at how well they push the boundaries of category. I couldn't write one to save my life, but wow. I'll have to check out your current story, Sam. If Rafe is a great as Nathan I'm sure I'll enjoy it.
