Well, I'm definitely making progress on the 'working through my TBR' and 'increasing my harlequin stats' with this challenge.
So far this month, of the 22 books that I've read, 16 of them are part of the challenge... I got started as soon as the challenge was announced and when I finished the book that I was already reading.
Also 13 of the 16 books that I've read are from various harlequin imprints (they're all in italics) ~ Yay me!
Below are the 16 books and the links from book to book:
- Julie Miller ~ The Duke's Covert Mission
- Julia London ~ The Hazards of Hunting a Duke
- Eloisa James ~ The Taming of the Duke
- Samantha James ~ The Secret Passion of Simon Blackwell
- B.J. Daniels ~ Secret Bodyguard
- Lori Wilde ~ Santa's Sexy Secret
- Christine Rimmer ~ Lori's Little Secret
- Christine Rimmer ~ The Nine-Month Marriage
- Christine Rimmer ~ Marriage by Necessity
- Christine Rimmer ~ Practically Married
- Christine Rimmer ~ The Millionaire She Married
- Christine Rimmer ~ The M.D. She HAD to Marry
- Christine Rimmer ~ The Marriage Agreement
- Christine Rimmer ~ The Bravo Billionaire
- Christine Rimmer ~ Fifty Ways to Say I'm Pregnant
- Christine Rimmer ~ Marrying Molly
So yep, I'm a happy reader; and reading a lot of excellent stories as well.

Somehow...
Somehow I missed the mini challenge. I don't think I got the email about it??? Hmmm... I think I need to ask Lori to see what happened?

Hi Vikki,
Yeah, I didn't get the notice until a few days into the month... usually I'm not so good at doing the challenge, but this one works very well for me. And as I said, I'm getting to a lot of books that I've had for quite a while.

Wow!
You did great on the mini-challenge! I sat down and listed all the books I had in my TBR pile for February and couldn't make one match! Good going!

Lynn - I found some
Lynn - I found some interesting ways to connect some of my books. One book was about a family from Italy and I connected it to One Summer in Italy by Lucy Gordon. I linked Dream Chaser - a Dream Hunter novel to Fool for Love by Kayla Perrin. The hero's last name is Hunter. I couldn't always go the traditional route but had fun coming up with connections.

Lynn...
... it kinda helped that 10 of the books are all by the same author... a little cheat, but still.
Star, what a great idea! But, as you can see ~ and as I told Lynn ~ I took things the easy way.

Star -
great idea! Wish I'd thought of it earlier in the month!
Kalyko - Any way you can get it done works!

Good going!
I ended up with four Jessica Hart books in a row simply because I hadn't realized that one was the first in a trilogy and since I had the others I figured I might as well read them too
I made my original list for the mini-challenge from my TBR lists ..... and I had to change directions because I misplaced a book .....argh ... so I went on a three book detour and now I'm back to my original list! LOL
these challenges are great if you have a massive TBR like I do .... it would be great to have this one again maybe in August or September .... I'm always in a bit of a reading slump then

it's all good
so far I've read 14(working on 15) books this month. Of those 10(working on 11) are connected for the mini challenge. I've already changed my mind twice and took out two books but didn't disrupt the rest of the line up so it's all good.
Oh and all of them are harlequin imprints.

I find it hard to list many
I find it hard to list many books at once. I'm more of a read one then pick one kind of person. Even with the challenge. I started looking through my stash near the end of one book for the next. I think anyway we do is fine. It's all about having fun while during one of our favorite things - reading.

Christa, once I finish the...
... Christine Rimmer books, then I'm going to have to do some actual thinking. With the one that I'm reading right now, that's five books to go until I'm at the end of the Bravo books (in my possession). Then I'm going to have to get creative.
Star you're absolutely right! To me, if reading's not fun, then why the heck do it.
