This is the second book in the Jennifer Crusie ebook bundle, and I enjoyed it, although it was not my favourite in the bundle. The cliché 'opposites attract' could apply to the heroine and hero, Tess and Nick.

She's a treehugging teacher, and he's a hotshot lawyer who dated for a while but are no longer together at the beginning of the novel due to their differences of opinion. Despite this, Nick manages to talk Tess into posing as his fiancée in order to convince a famous writer to become his client.

Overall, I found the book entertaining and funny, and I loved the banter between the two mains, as well as between Tess and other characters. My only reservations are that one of the plot twists about someone's identity was too easy to predict, and also the conflicts at the end were wrapped up a bit too quickly and too pat, though this was probably due to the word count limits. (This is a reprint of a Silhouette category romance.) I'd still recommend it, however, for fans of romantic comedy.
