Blood Ties Book 4: All Souls' Night by Jennifer Armintrout (MIRA)

Anyone who read my top 10 last year knows that I cheated a bit and combined Blood Ties books 2 & 3 into one entry in the top 10 so that I could fit more books on the list. Well, Book 4 could very well make it onto this year's list, although it's facing some stiff competition. But it's got a good shot because it was another great read!

If you haven't read books 1, 2 and 3, don't start with book 4 because I just don't think you'll get it. The back-story between Carrie and Nathan, the back-story between Carrie and Cyrus, and the back-story between Nathan and Ziggy are each mentioned in this book, but you won't understand the full implications of those mentions without having read the other books. Jennifer also skips over a lot of detail of how the blood tie works, which is fine since she did that in all the previous books. Basically this is a book for the fans. And anyone who's a fan won't be disappointed!

I don't really know how to describe the plot without spoiling everything. let's just say that the ending was exactly as I'd hoped.

This book goes on sale in June.
