Realm of Shadows

This story of vampires and werewolves and supernatural happenings occurs outside Paris and has old ties to Louis XIV.  Tara Adair comes to France to spend time with her ailing grandfather and becomes involved with Brent Malone and the archaelogical dig beneath an old church in the village.

She is very skeptical of the stories that her grandfather and Brent tell her about evil, but she is a strong believer by the end.  Other characters from Shannon Drake's earlier vampire books also make an appearance to help Tara and Brent fight evil.
