Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows

I loved all 7 Harry Potter books.  I've read each of them more times than I can remember.  I will admit parts of number 7 struck me as J.K. was reaching a bit.  Making Voldemort's name a curse was one of those things.  I had thought this one would be mainly about wrapping up loose ends from the other books, but she included a fair number of additional things as well.  Things about Dumbledore's past, his family and their lives, also she delved a bit into Luna and her father's life.

I was thrilled to see Neville had turned into something of a bad @ss in this one.  Good for him.  Go Neville.  I was a little saddened by the body count of this book.  Characters we all loved lost their lives.  There were some truly sad moments in this story.

Overall it was an enjoyable read and well deserved ending for Harry and friends.

Got this one........

on my TBR shelf right now!  I picked up the last two to read from the library so I'm hoping to blog about it next week on my off days!
