145. Dinah McCall ~ The Survivors ~ MIRA Romantic Suspense (Mar 2007)
Yet another of Sharon Sala's / Dinah McCall's books sitting on my shelves for awhile that I had been meaning to get to. Sometimes I guess I just have way too many excellent books to read that I end up having more BISHRS!
This story, like so many of Dinah McCall's has a strong paranormal / supernatural element to it and I do so love these! The way that, even when faced with seemingly unsurmountable obstacles, her characters persevere is always inspiring. I also love the way that her characters connect ~ at some point they're taken down to the very basic part of their nature and what you see is what you get... and that's always a person of honour, strength, integrity and hope. After reading this story ~ and the third of hers in a row ~ I'm so feeling that I want ALL of her backlist books that I'm missing... which is actually a LOT.
Once again an outstanding adventure filled with suspense and tension, but leavened with not one, but two, heartwarming romances. YUM! VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND... of course.
