Oh wow! I don't know quite what to say about this one except that it was awesome! Talin was so wounded and even as a boy, Clay wanted to protect her. This book continued along, developing the continuing story line about the Psy Council attempting to control the minds of other Psy. They seem to have a total disregard for life so I guess the Silence was successful at blotting out emotion and the natural conscience

I loved this one too. Slave to Sensation and this one are my favorites. This series is excellent.
