I love Marie Ferrarella's books. This one features Lily's son Alain who is an attorney. He has a car accident one night on a lonely road during a snowstorm when he tries to avoid hitting a dog.  The German Shepard belongs to Kayla, a veternarian who is very involved in German Shepard rescue work.  She has 5 dogs with her when she rescues Alain who passes out from his injuries.  They get snowed in, which makes for some steamy moments.  Will Alain run back to the city as soon as the snow clears or will he open his heart to Kayla?

Any book that has a veternarian is one that gets on my to read list.  That this one also involved dog rescue made it near and dear to my heart.
