When I was given the book I didn't know the author and wasn't interested much in the line. Since then I've come across some good American Romance titles so I decided to try my luck with this new to me author.
The story: Rebecca Carrigan wants to succeed on her own. She starts her own alpaca ranch and hopes for her family's respect. What she doesn't need are two neighbours fighting over her. One is sleazy and the other is nice. For Rebecca's independent streak Trevor McCabe is too nice though. It isn't easy for her to accept help, but Trevor doesn't give.
With a lovable and capable heroine, a supportive and sexy hero, and an evil and slimy villain The Rancher Next Door is a very entertaining and satisfying read. Can't wait to read more from this author.
