Jacob and Faith
Six years ago Faith, a wolf breed female was given to Jacob to fertilize. She was 18 years old and a virgin. Dr Bainesmith, ‘The Bitch’ (read that as psycho scientist) wanted her pregnant so she pumped her full of aphrodisiacs and tossed her in with Jacob. Jacob wanted Faith but felt she was too young and delicate to withstand having sex with him. As he was about the consummate the act, the labs were blown up and the Wolf breeds escaped. Wolfe was their leader and kept Faith and Aiden and the others he could find and kept their pack together.
Jacob could not be near Faith without wanting her so he took the jobs far away, like South America, where he was now, hunting down another lab to free whoever he could find there. Wolfe sends Faith down to locate Jacob and give him some papers. She has Hawke guarding her but Faith has gotten much stronger. She can handle herself in a fight and is royally angry at Jacob for leaving her suffering the mating heat for 6 years with no end in sight. Jacob can tell she is in heat and wants her, but he is not prepared for her rage. She may be his mate, but she is not putting up with his dominance especially since he abandoned her for all that time and never tried to contact her.
There are perimeter breakthroughs and security is breeched and Faith and Jacob have to learn to deal with each other. We get a little more of the story here. Lots of sex. Lots of angst. Lots of Alpha male testosterone. Lots of Faith ignoring it.
