Wow.  I am not personally involved with the armed forces.  My dh is not involved with the armed forces.  I cannot imagine how terribly moving this book would be for someone who is personally involved with a soldier.

Despite my lack of prior knowledge, I was instantly drawn into this plot line.  I loved the h's outlook on this situation, and cheered her on most of the book.  I must admit, however, I became VERY frustrated with her in Chapter 13.  Had she been a friend of mine I would have shook some sense into her!

As conflicts start resolving, you may need Kleenex close by!!!!

Ugh! Does that mean

I'm going to want to shake some sense into her too?  I think I'm going through a "thing" with heroines.  I read a Blaze last night that I got aggravated at the heroine also, but this one was going through a process that she HAD to go through.

Hmmmm....

I don't know.  Shannyn and Maggie aren't alike in a lot of ways.  Maggie has some serious stuff to overcome though.  I think that as you get close to the black moment, you're going to know the decision you want her to make, but I hope I've built her in such a way that the decision she makes is understandable.  I think in some ways she's the strongest heroine I've written.

Nate is quite delicious,  I think.  He doesn't try to be charming.  He just IS.
