Knave's Honor

Format: Print Books
Series: HQN

I really enjoyed reading this book.  It is a HQN Historical Romance.

It's about an outlaw with honor named Finn that accidentally meets a noblewoman, Lady Elizabeth.  Her caravan is attacked, all her men killed except for one she thought was dead, and she and her maid, Keldra, were left alive.  Finn and a young friend of his, Garreth, helped them escape from the men who were sent to capture her for an evil nobleman (Lord Wimarc) that wants to overthrow the king.  They heard Wilmarc's name mentioned by the men who attacked her caravan and the fact that they were sent to kidnap her.  Amazingly, Wilmarc also happens to be the man who had captured and imprisoned Finn's half brother, Ryder, who Finn was on the way to try to rescue.  They decided to go to Wilmarc's castle disguiised as another Lord and his Lady that had been invited to visit that Wilmarc had never met.  Thus began their intrigueing, sometimes almost humurous, and passion-filled story.  Of course, it ended quite happily with them planning to be married and live happily ever-after.

This book kept me enthralled to the end.
