Witness by Susan Page Davis-April 08

Aunt Cheryl
Format:

#20-ER nurse Petra Wilson and her Golden Retriever,Mason just happen to witness their neighbor commit a murder. Problem is when the police arrive at the scene there isn't even the slightest trace a crime has been committed. So now Petra has made a deadly enemy in her neighbor,Professor Rex Harwood, and the events that follow make her life totally unsafe.

Joe Tarleton,a private investigator seems to be the only one who really believes her and protects her through the many dangerous attempts made on her life. Because of all this,Petra ends up leaving her home and moving in with her sisters which does add a nice touch to the story.

This book really kept my attention with all that went on just because the professor was a highly renown man who was regarded and seemed to be above the law. A wonderfully written mystery that is definitely worth the time to read and enjoy. This is the second book by Susan I have read and I really do like her style.
