My thoughts
Wicked Pleasure is part of the Bound Hearts series by Lora Leigh. I have yet to read the others but I felt that this one stood alone nicely. If you haven't read the others but think that this one interests you I would suggest going ahead and reading it.
Cam and Jaci have a history together that is at times sweet and at others gut-wrenching. Lora Leigh manages to grab her readers from the first pages and doesn't let go until the last.
And while this book involves some extremely graphic and very hot, sensual sex it always remains emotionally tied to the characters and plots. Lora Leigh writes erotic romance like no other author I have ever read.

Forbidden Pleasure ended up being a permanant threesome (I've heard, haven't read it yet). Could that be why you didn't like it as much?
