Rose is a classic Marion Lennox lovely heroine. She's sweet and feisty,
determined and thoughtful. We can tell Nick is mad about her from the
moment they meet. Their journey is interesting, intriguing, sometimes
poignant sometimes sweet and funny.

How could you not read on with an opening like this:

'Rose-Anitra, we have a surprise for you.'
Rose sighed. In her experience surprises from her in-laws were like
surprises from a fairground ghost train: 'Surprise!' followed by green
slime--or worse.

I loved this book.
