This is the third book in the Study series and an excellent ending for this line, while it can also be an opening into more stories featuring many more characters.  Yelena learns about magic and her abilities not in a class room setting but the hard way.  Do or die.  All the favorite and not so favorite characters from the first two come together in this final story to combat evil to save two countries from a horrible future.  Will definitely look forward to more works from Ms. Synder.
