Header Promotion# 1809 Married to His Business
Kendall gets fired from the job she puts in her 2 week notice for when she tells her boss another company already hired her. It's a direct rival to her current company that prompts the quick boot out the door. Though her boss Matthias pays her well, he does not see that she wants to move up the ladder and not end up stuck in the 'personal assistant' position.
The inevitalbe reunion takes place as Matthias goes to his vacation lodge in the same area where Kendall's new boss has her go for some training to be the vice president of his company. Matthias finds out in more ways than one that you don't know what you got until it's gone and he wants it back. Former boss and employee start to see each other in a whole new light.
It's a good read though I have trouble buying that Matthias would be as challenged by electronic devices and applicances as he is. An extreme example would be his not even figuring out how to heat things in a microwave! Moments like that made me shake my head wondering how he could have made his millions. I laughed while being taken out of the story a bit with scenes like that. Still have not decided on a rating stytem. I would recommend this book.
