Ghosts of the Carolinas

A while back, I'd put out a call for ghost stories and several community members here listed some of their favorites.  I bought a few of them, The Tunnels, Spirited Away, and this one, which is the first of the suggested reads I cracked open.

I really liked this book.  It's rather short, was published back in 1962, and is a collection of real-account short stories about strange happenings in the Carolinas.  They are fun, the types of stories you tell around the camp fire.  Not creep-out Stephen King or Dean Koontz.  Just short quick little reads when you're in the mood for something light.

Isn't...

this one interesting?  I'm from the Carolinas originally so really enjoyed this one.

Yeah, it really was a fun

Yeah, it really was a fun read.  I particularly like the creepier ones (the opening door one was good).  And as a writer, I'm always looking at short stories as inspiration for book ideas.
