Glory, Glory by Linda Lael Miller
My 30th book from the Harlequin family of books.....catching up to the 50/50 mark.
The Book:
Eight years ago, Glory Parsons had been forced to flee her hometown—and leave behind her first love. And Jesse Bainbridge would never know the heartbreaking price she'd paid—or about the child born of their fiery union.…
Jesse had once wanted Glory with all the passion in his soul— until she walked out on him. Now she was back with shocking news that would change his life forever. Could he trust the woman who'd betrayed him—the only woman he would ever love?
My Take:
The book says this was published in 1990, but the B & N website says June 2008. Must be a reprint.
This is a pretty good book. I started reading it at about 6:15 this morning on the bus on the way to work. Now I just finished tonite, before I get in the bath and get ready for tomorrow.
There are good strong characters, a good tear jerking story and lots of love.
I have gotten used to her historical, or western themed contemporaries, that I it kinda threw me that these are people who dont live in the country and there is no horse in sight.
