Thirty Day Affair by Maureen Child 2007
An irresistible force meets and immovable object…
Nathan Barrister didn’t do commitments , relationships or
settling down. Always on the move, he was the first of six friends to stay in
Hunter’s Lodge for a month in order to
fulfil the requirements of their deceased friend’s will- the result being a
very large bequest to charity and the
town of Hunter’s Landing.
The mayor of the town, Keira Sanders, was going to ensure
Ryan (and all those following) stayed their full month so that the donation
occurs. She insists on involving the reluctant Nathan in the town’s activities
so that he sees the importance of the money and learns to appreciate the town..
Although he is happy to write a large cheque, that does not buy his solitude.
He still is required to attend a function to be thanked.
Then Keira is snowed
in with Nathan. They get to know each other a lot better...
I love the series and this is a good start.
to dream the impossible dream...
this is my quest-to follow that star..
