• Eden is married to Greek tycoon Aristide, and has just told him she wants a divorce when they are in a serious accident. Aristide is left in a coma and Eden ordered not to move or she could lose her baby, which is at 2 mos. She wants to go see Aristide, to be sure he’s ok. She may want a divorce but she still loves him. And that’s their problem, she thinks he married her out of obligation when she told him she was pregnant with their first child. He’s never told her he loves her and he spends a lot of time away on business with his beautiful assistant Kassandra.

When Aristide awakens he remembers everyone but Eden. This is horribly frustrating for Eden and the doctors say it is psychological and not caused by his concussion, and she’s not to upset him.

I liked the way this couple worked through this unusual circumstance. Aristide, though he didn’t remember Eden, none the less treated her like his wife and was shocked when she finally confronted him with his relationship to Kassandra. Eden had so much patience waiting for Aristide to remember her, and fear that when he did, he’d remember that she’d wanted a divorce.

I enjoyed this one very much. I’m trying to catch up on my ebooks (and my pb books, too!) so I just opened the one at the top the the alphabetical list, A Bundle of Christmas Babies, three books. It was just what I needed after the last two mysteries I read. Back to romance.

I loved this book ...

the scene where Eden finally allows herself to breakdown because she believes she's alone, and then Aristide finds her, is such a powerful scene ..... I felt her despair right through to my bones  ....

you can't go wrong with a book by Lucy ... if I'm in a slump I know one of hers will pull me out

nice review!

I agree wit Katherine

I agree with Katherine, this is a good review.  Now I will have to go digging, I don't get rid of any Lucy books, and read this one again.
