The Hollow is the second in the Blood Brothers trilogy.  It was fairly fast paced and I really enjoyed it.  The first book was Cal and Quinn's, this is Fox and Layla's story.   The six who are now friends are determined to put a stop the evil that invades the hollow every seven years.  

I enjoyed this book.  I enjoy series because it's like finding out new information about old friends.
