I remember reading The Mark (Jason Pinter's first book in the Henry Parker series) last year and loving it. It was suspensful, well written and I got through it quickly. His follow-up, The Guilty, was good but I just loved The Mark so much more. I'm not sure if it had to do with the cowboy/wild west story that I didn't like too much or if it was Henry's relationship with his ex-girlfriend that turned me off.

I did enjoy the sneak peak at the end of this book of Pinter's next book, The Stolen (out August '08), which I will definitly pick up and read.
