Cross by James Patterson
This is one of James Patterson's Alex Cross books. In this one Alex must face some changes in his life and part of that is closure of his wife's murder. He is drawn back into police work as a consultant when a serial rapist is making the rounds in Georgetown. As it turns out this is also the same guy that Alex suspects in the same who murdered his wife 10 years before. I've read several of the Alex Cross novels and also seen the movies. This one was really good and I enjoyed seeing Alex's life move in a different direction. Though the ending had me thinking I needed to pick up the next one!
"It is to the credit of human nature that, except where its selfishness is brought into play, it loves more readily than it hates."
