This edition of the Secrets anthologies requires more of a suspension of belief than the others - which is fine once you accept that. I'm not reading for realism anyway. Angela Knight's Blood and Kisses was a stand-out in this group. The story was just as escapist as the FBI agents posing as porn stars or the police officers starring at a strip joint, but by setting the vampire tale in the future, it sent reality packing from the very beginning.
