#43 - 06.09.08—06.11.08

• Gwen is a plain woman who works in a library and collects cat figurines. But for her 31st birthday she goes to a salon and a boutique and then goes out on the town.

• Ethan spots Gwen at the end of the bar of the club he owns. When he witnesses her being picked up by a sleezeball in a polyester suit, he has to rescue her. He offers to take her home but that’s not where she wants to go, so they go to his place. She gets her birthday wish then leaves before he wakes. But Ethan can’t forget her, so he goes looking for her.

A similar plot idea to “A Date For Love” (#41) but totally different. Here Gwen acts like someone she’s not, thinking it will all be forgotten the next day. But she finds herself having to be her alter ego again and again. I enjoyed the story, though SD have too high a percentage of intimacy than I care for. I’d like to know more about what goes on in the characters heads than in their bodies. So I’ll need to take a break from the Best of Makeovers Bundle, unless I can find one in there that isn’t so “hot”.
