Distracting the Duchess by Emily Bryan (Leisure)

I expected more. The era is interesting and well researched, but I never felt it. It is suppose to be a sexy historical. I didn't see it. There is lots of sex, but it isn't sexy.

The heroine's actions don't ring true. Most of the characters feel too modern, especially when it comes to the dialogue. The secondary characters only have short walk on parts, and I would have liked to get to know them better.

There are lots of logical mistakes. But not all is bad: The pacing is good and the story is entertaining. So for a quick fix this might just work. I wasn't satisfied though.
