#109 - The Seduction of Keira by Emma Darcy (HP #1472, July 1992)

ElleJay
Format: Print Books

book cover"She was supposed to be a modern-day Delilah.

When Keira Mary Brooks returned to Sydney, her cousin Justin greeted her with open arms. It was not what she'd expected.

Neither were Justin's plans. He wanted Keira to assume the alias Delilah O'Neil and to seduce a man.

For the sake of family, Keira reluctantly agreed. But then she met Nick Sarazan, the man of her dreams. 'Come dance with me,' said Nick. 'I'll show you we're made for each other.'"

This was really good - dated of course, but I liked the free spirit in Keira.

Oh i have this one in a box somewhere.  I guess I should pull it out, haven't read it yet.  :)

HI Janet!

I wondered how long it would take for you to see this one!  Not long at all!

I really enjoy ED's books even the older ones are very well done.  Just that the "times" are dated.

I made a commitment to read 15 TBR's in June so I thought this would make a good start.  I've still got a number to blog yet - I think I've read about 8 TBRs so far this month.

Emma Darcy

I love Emma Darcy. I don't think I've ever seen this one mentioned before and I've never seen it.

I visited one of the libraries that has a lot of honor books that are Desires and Presents. Well, I was disappointed because the library is closed and a new library is built behind it. Very beautiful but things have changed. They do not have a nice Honor section like before. They used to have a book sale once a month and now they have an established Friends bookstore in the library open daily. Although I could not get to the sales very often, when I did, I would find a nice selection of romance. Usually finding older books like this one. Now they have No romance in the Friends bookstore. That is so sad.

What are you reading now?
(WAYRN 2009 Challenge)

Hi Margie!

I've found the thrift stores are good for finding the older Harlequins - most of the UBS do not want them.

ElleJay...  *grin*  the

ElleJay...  *grin*  the HPs always draw my attention, I love commenting on 'em.  And it's fun for you to mention OLDER HPs because I know I have them sitting around and seeing your reviews gives me an extra PUSH towards them, gets them to the top of the TBR quicker.

Margie...  good luck with the hunting!  Hope you start having better luck!
