I'm feeling tired and frustrated at the moment, because there have been a lot of things going on which have eaten into my "me" time, and so I haven't had as much time for reading and there's another backlog beginning despite that. The boys have a "circus show" at school today and so I spent all day Wednesday (my day off work) sewing sequins and trying to organise something sparkly for my clown and trying to find a suitable outfit for my acrobat - not necessarily an easy thing at short notice.
It also means I'll be spending all morning at school watching this show and therefore the laundry and shopping won't get done so more "me" time out the window - and given that I'm already running behind from Wednesday it'll take longer than usual anyway
And I know we all have the same problems but I'm just depressed at the thought that I won't have time for reading (unless I want to cut into my sleeping time and that wouldn't be wise!)
I've said it before - I'm a readaholic, and you REALLY don't want to deprive me of books, it's not a pretty sight or experience!

I feel for you...I used to
I feel for you...I used to be able to chunk out more time in my day for reading, but lately there are so many outside demands on my time it is making a hue dent in my "me" time. Here's to hoping you soon find the time you need.

I hear ya!
I just started a new job (finally!) and have blown my knee, so between the two am not having much reading time. I miss it a lot. As I am sitting here watching "Hairspray" for the 2nd time, I think I will turn it off. And of course, get a little reading time.

The more you do for others,
The more you do for others, the more important it is to have some "me" time to re-charge the batteries. When that system gets too far out of balance, everyone loses.
And you're right, it's depressing when you can't see any end in sight. I've had that sensation, and it's awful.
I hope your universe gets back into balance soon!
