Hunter Dolan was determined to have his vengence against the man he held responsible for his father's death and his daughter who ran out on their relationship years ago. Lily Fontane and her father would both pay for their past wrongs to Hunter and his family with interest if Hunter had his way about it. A good read but expect to see a lot of miscommunication and holding on to grudges.
I'm not sure the hero deserved the ending he got after all the things he did to the heroine on purpose.
He was not a scared young woman being manipulated by her father and feeling deserted by her first lover. I would almost want to see this story outside of the romance genre where a "happy ending" would not be required.
A good read especially for those who enjoy scheming and vengence like I do sometimes when I watch soaps.
