Sara Calhoun seem to have the perfect life. Until one day a young Police Officer knocked at her door and introduced himself as her son. A son she had given up for adoption twenty-one years ago. A son who was conceived by rape.  Now that painful part of her past has caught up with her. Mark Dalton had been one of the accused in the rape of Sara Lindsay. He spent five years in prison and has to report as a sex offender. Sara's son, Ryan Mercedes is a good cop and wants to go further. He's looking into Sara's rape and wondering if it was used as a cover up for a murder.

I totally loved this book. I had heard through the grapevine about it and always wondered if I could find it. The problems Sara and Mark have are problems that seem so real.  How does one go on with ones life after a tragic event. I highly recommend this book if you can find it. I can't wait for Ryan's book in July.
