Beautiful Australian Seacoast Locations – Wonderful Story!

“The Single Dad’s Patchwork Family” is an ideal title for this book. The cover art is also perfect. Story takes place in South Australia’s Eyre Peninsula where the heroine is trying to save her family tuna farm. Her father built the business giving it all his time so the heroine was pretty much ignored as a child. The heroine then marries a playboy Italian with dual citizenship and has two sons. The husband takes over the business and quickly ruins it as he has no business sense. He then runs off and goes back to Italy.  She manages to divorce him though he has no contract with the children. The heroine spends five years trying to save the farm and appears to have it profitable at the time the story starts.

The hero is a high powered corporate lawyer who has moved with his four year old daughter to a small seaside cabin. It was his wife’s. He quit his job and really has enough money not to have to work. His wife died and they were  very much in love.

The hero and heroine meet at a business event. Both are attracted to each other but neither wants to be hurt by another failed relationship. The tension is caused by both being attracted and both wanting to repulse the attraction.

“The Single Dad’s Patchwork Family”   is a classic style romance and a good example why I like Harlequin Romance so much. In addition to a heartwarming romance, you also are treated to beautiful seaside locations, spectacular sunsets, boat trips, swimming with sea lions, and exploring.

This is my first Claire Baxter romance.  “The Single Dad’s Patchwork Family” makes me want to read many more. Great job!

Heartwarming Romance in Beautiful Seaside Location! Highly Recommended!

Thanks

I'm glad you enjoyed it, Vince. Thanks for the very nice review.

This book was set in my home state of South Australia, however my next one is set in Italy. I hope you'll enjoy that one too.

Looking Forward for Your Book Set in Italy!

     Hi Claire:

I'm so glad you stopped by. I love Italy. I lived there for three years. I hope you give Lucy Gordon a run for her money (as long as your story is not set in Venice - no one can do that! Smile)

My wife and sister-in-law have been to Australia and loved it. We have friends from down under as well that we met on world tour. We asked them in Greece to come visit us in Tulsa and they did. I hope you've been to Italy or get there soon if you have not gone. I'll be looking for the Italian book. I still have your other eBook to read next. Sealed

           Thanks,

No, not Venice...

My heroine is an Australian travel writer touring the Amalfi Coast.

I'm guessing it's Best Friend...Future Wife that you have in eBook? I'll be interested to hear what you think of it. It's set in Adelaide, a beautiful city. I live there. Smile

Hi Claire:

I've traveled all over Italy and I found the Amalfi region to be the most beautiful and spectacular at the same time. I tell everyone on Mediterranean cruise ships to be sure and take the Amalfi optional tour!  I hope you have your characters spend a lot of time outdoors.

If you are looking for another location in Italy, I suggest the lake region in northern Italy. This region  is also beautiful and I have not seen this location used in an HR before.

Yes, I am now reading "Best Friend...Future Wife" and I have already checked out Adelaide on the Internet. It looks like a great place to live.

Looking forward to your Amalfi book. I try to read all HR's that take place in Italy.

        Thanks,

         Vince
