A Soldiers Homecoming - Conard County

This is the first of the second generation books in the Conard County series.   Ethan Parrish is looking to meet his father - Micah - from Cherokee Thunder.  He is an ex soldier who has never met his father before.  While walking to town he is picked up by deputy Connie Halloran and when her daughter is threatened he helps keep her safe.  Of course they fall in love while this is going on. 

It is good to see how the county has changed and how some things have stayed the same.  Hopefully there will be other books coming out soon.
