Because Amanda Barker has been relentlessly pursuing Josh Marshall to pose in a firfighter's calendar, he decides to turn the tables on her and pursue her, so he agrees to pose in her calendar if she will join him for dinner.  However, he quickly sees that Amanda is more than he thought she was, and he wants more from her than a quick fling. 

This is a reissue of one of Lori Foster's earlier Temptations.  Like all of her earlier works, it is an excellent read--although I think that I have gotten accustom to her writing longer books because this one seemed to be finished rather quickly!
