Book blurb: “Self-made fitness tycoon Rory Flanaghan is tall, rugged and so, so sexy. When Cara Sheehan starts one-to-one sessions with Rory, exercise takes on a whole new meaning!
Though she might be inexperienced in the bedroom, Cara knows Rory’s heart is locked away. But Rory will show Cara what she’s been missing. With one touch, one kiss, one night, he’ll have her complete surrender.”
***Rating – I rate this book very good. I really enjoyed reading this book.
Cara is determined to show her friends and ex-boyfriend that she is not pining over him. Cara only has a few weeks to tone up so she can fit into her sexy bridesmaid dress for her friend’s wedding. To do this she needs too hire a personal trainer quickly. Cara and Rory don’t get off to a great start, but Rory is the best and Cara needs the best to reach her goal. I loved Cara’s quirky sense of humor; and the chemistry between Rory and Cara was scorching hot!

I read this
And really enjoyed it. I, too, thought the chemistry was hot and loved her quirkiness. I've always loved a book (or movie/tv) where they characters have great banter, and this book had that for me.

My Review: Mmmm, yummy! This book was such an enjoyable read, it just made me feel good! I was grinning and laughing my way through it. The banter between the hero/heroine was such delicious, the sexual tension was built up very well. The heroine's self-defense mechanism of sarcasm and barbs was just charming and made her equal to the challenge of taming her bossy hero who was used to commanding his own way. I loved the little moments between them, I thought their relationship evolved realistically, and I think the book really established that the H/h have outside lives and identities as people beyond their relationship. (We can see how their issues lead to conflicts that needed to be dealt with, so that they could happily settle down with one another eventually and get a HEA) There is a slight separation, where the motivation behind the separation was a misunderstanding, and that time seemed wasteful, but the separation was relatively teeny. (I was surprised that the hero knew what he wanted, loved, but restrained himself... I respected him a ton for it though). Rating: 4.5/5 stars, passion and humour! What could be better? *grin* I'm glad I caved and bought this one, everyone was tormenting me with their glowing reviews and I couldn't wait for it to hit the library shelves.
I enjoyed this book so
I enjoyed this book so much. I am now looking through my backlog of unread books to read other books by this autor; she wrote another book in March 08.
Trish Wylie Presents
book in March 08
At The Billionaire's Bidding Trish Wylie Harlequin Presents Wow, this was a really good story. They were friends seven years ago, she had a crush on the somewhat older hero. She dressed up in "disguise" and seduced him because she wanted him to be her first lover, than the next morning she ran away. (The hero KNEW it was her, though he never told her he knew) Now they meet up again because the hero has inherited the building she lives/works in. They argue over the building, because he wants to sell. He also wants a relationship for REAL with the heroine and sets about first getting back into her arms, then carving out a place in her life for him. I really liked the couple, they seemed so realistic and their emotional issues were normal baggage. The dialogue between them was very normal: they spoke about their feelings, revealing them in small ways at first, and then having a few "truth talks" to get things out on the table. The love between the hero/heroine lasted seven years and will last the rest of their lives, they really seemed meant to be. Rating: 5/5 stars, a real solid relationship between the hero/heroine! I'm not marking it as a keeper because it touched on some sad issues: a seven year separation that seemed senseless which meant meaningless relationships with other people and baby problems. It certainly was nowhere near depressing though! It was hopeful and about love making good in the end. Thanks, it sounds really
Thanks, it sounds really good! Now If I could only find it among all my books, lol! I really need to stop buying books and just read the one's I have. But, every month I give in to temptation and buy more, it's an addiction!
I am officially making Trish Wylie one of my favorite authors!
