Angie is sent to retrieve a dagger for her uncle and meets Flynn but she's unsure about her host so she asks Flynn for his help. Then she realises Flynn is also interested in the dagger. Has she fallen in love with a man who only wanted the dagger?
Too little, too late! The title and the back blurb meant the first two chapters were a complete waste of typeface and so the only thing I was interested in was her reaction when she found out the truth, so I skimmed through the first half of the book (and then wasn't interested enough to go back to fill in the blanks) I disliked Flynn from the very beginning but read the rest hoping he would improve, but given he went through with the wedding BEFORE asking the important question, this generated my summary of TLTL. I find it fascinating how I enjoy JAK under her own name but her SJ pseudo just revs my nerves to boiling (in a bad way) from page 1. Alpha should NOT mean arrogant, supercilious or overbearing. I love REAL alpha heroes. Unfortunately Flynn wasn't one.
