Diana (who abandoned her daughter Jaye, leaving her with her brother in A Time to Forgive) has moved close to her home in an effort to make over her life. But her intentions to confess and make amends are ruined by the knowledge that they would create problems for Tyler, Jaye's father, who doesn't know about Jaye, and who is running for circuit judge. When he finds out the truth, will Tyler understand and forgive her? Will she be able to convince Jaye that she made her choices out of love?
This answered some of my lingering questions from ATTF. Nice homecoming. I loved the secondary romance and the way the J.D. issue was resolved and how her mother changed her mind in the end.
