This is the third book in Lara Adrian's Midnight Breed series and I am still so enjoying it. The Breeds are very much warriors, but when they meet up with their Breedmate, lives change.
Tegan has been suffering for centuries; his wife was abducted and returned as a minion and he's never forgiven himself for not protecting her. For him, it's much easier to live with hating himself than to risk anyone else, or to risk letting anyone close to him ~ he's become the ultimate loner.
But after meeting Elise Chase, he's not been able to forget her. Elise herself is suffering: Five years ago her husband was murdered by Rogues and only months ago, her only son was also lost to them. I love this series too, this series is what turned me onto paranormal romance. I haven't had a chance to read Rio's story yet but I heard it was really good. I really liked Tegan's story, I was glad there was somone to through the wall he put around his heart.

I just finished the Poison Study series so this is my next series to start. I've been wanting to read these since last year. So I'll be starting the first one soon. I've heard so many great things about them. So it's about time I finally got to them. So many great books waiting.
