When I first heard about Lora Leigh's Bound Heart series I was quite skeptical... how could something that sounded so much like erotica have romantic elements to it? This was, of course, before I had much experience with this marvelous author's writing. I'm not sure how she does it, but she can take the most sexually explicit material and transform it into the telling of a love story... every...single...time. No longer a doubter, I'm now a fan of this series as well as any other of her works that I've had the enjoyment of reading. Yes, the sex is very explicit and, to many, very likely of the forbidden variety... there's really not much that she doesn't delve into. But it's always, Always, part of an expression of love that the characters have for each other. And as I've read the first three 'books' of the series, I'm discovering more and more that, while I'm still in my personal life very much a white bread person, that people are different and expressions of love vary as much as the individuals involved. Beautiful and emotional while also very, very steamy and sexy stories.

These were issued two novellas to a book
so that's how I counted the first six as three books, then the
others were novel length. #1 still gets on my nerves but I really like
the later ones, especially Forbidden Pleasures and I'm impatiently
waiting for the next one that will be out in May

Me too!!!
The Bound Hearts series is great! I'm also impatiently awaiting the next release! Love the review, Kathy!!!
The Bound Hearts stories...
Sadhbh, are, as you say, available in print... except for the first one ~ it's only available in ebook format. I suppose I could have gone the eBay route, but I was too impatient. And I get them right away! I did, however, order Forbidden Pleasure, as well as one or two... or four
... other books, like Midnight Rising, Shifter, the one Lynsay Sands' Argeneau story that I'm missing, Captive Dreams (Angela Knight) and Scott E. Miller's second book, Prairie Sunsets. A book glutton?
Qui, moi?
Julz, I should have known that these stories were good; I've been reading LL's books for awhile now and I've liked everything that I've found... silly me.
