Kane and Rhiannon had a brief affair eleven years ago but K left very suddenly and never got the letter R wrote telling him she was pregnant. Now she's inherited a house but doesn't know that he owns the estate that would make it self-sufficient and he arrives and discovers he's a father. Lot of resentment and misunderstandings which they have to deal with. Can they get through that to the love, eleven years later?
I loved a lot of things about this book, but especially the revelations that we get from the other pov. I particularly loved Kane's reactions when he realised that Rhiannon didn't "deliberately" deprive him of his daughter's early years and that she might have reason to resent him for the lack of actual and moral support.

I loved this one. I read
I loved this one. I read this blog Lorie wrote about her kids before I read this book and that blog alongside this book just made me think about my parents' divorce more from a mom's perspective. I would have loved this book anyhow but Lorie's blog inspired me to think about things in a different read that made this book even more great.

this one was the one that the two main characters were so angry at one another for most of the book that it was almost too painful for me to read. Isn't this the one with the really neat ending? Don't want to spoil it by saying what though.....
