Phoebe's sister talked her into running against the sheriff in the elections and because he forgot to file his application in time, she was elected. Divorced mother of two, easily embarrassed and intimidated, she'd got into the habit of sleeping her life away. Richie her deputy is not sure he's happy about a woman boss, but he trades his wood-working skills for her interior-decorating skills and they fall in love. This was charming, funny and heart-warming. I'm glad I don't have a sister like Phoebe's, I was amused by the old sheriff and loved the ending.
