Zach and Becky had a wild week-long affair and got married just before the Marine went off on an 18-month tour. When he gets back he's suffering from PTSS and Becky still hasn't told her parents she's married although she's managed to pick up a stalker. Will they be able to make their marriage work with Zach in protector mode and Becky in overworked yuppie lawyer mode? Or will Becky give up and turn to the suitable beau waiting in the wings?
I liked the way they didn't see great sex as a solution to their problems, and how Becky recognised that while the stalker had to be dealt with and Zach in protector mode was "normal", it was only a reprieve before they'd need to deal with their couple problems. I also liked the way they didn't leave the great sex by the wayside either. I loved Becky's mother and it was an awesome cover.

It hasn't been to long since I read this. I liked it! I was glad they tried working out their problems but wished Becky had been honest about being married instead of letting her parents think she was single. It made for an interesting story.

health was at least an understandable reason for keeping it a secret, it wasn't that she was trying to deceive them or that she didn't feel she was married
I can understand wanting to limit conflict and keep things simple
