Tory and Ben still love each other but their jobs keep them apart and keep things complicated. When her colleague gets kidnapped abroad, Tory demands the assignment and is surprised to find Ben on the spot, so they search for clues together. But Tory is pregnant so Ben goes into protector mode. Can they find the kidnap victims before their time runs out?
Trying to update the blog and keep children occupied without giving in to the lure of the TV or the computer is difficult, as even when I bring out the coloring books and activities they don't want me to be on the computer. So while I know I really enjoyed this the train of thought left without me Maybe later

LOL Marty
have you read Magic's Pawn, Magic's Promise and Magic's Price by
Mercedes Lackey (DAW books) - if you like the idea of Troy and Ben this
should suit you better
apart from being a very good trilogy in the Valdemar world

sigh
as they get older it gets worse.... when mine calls on the phone she wants my individual attention so she can whine about something and she's 26. You have little ones and they want mommy NOW.... but only if she is busy doing something else

Yes I am a readalholic and I don't want the 12 step program!!!
RE: EXCLUSIVE
I really don't have anything against "Troy and Ben". In fact, there's a "Troy" on me amateur hockey team and "Ben" comes by to watch him play. I've showered, swam, drank, and played cards with Troy. No biggie -- though it was at first for me. I wouldn't subscribe to a line exclusively about "Troy and Ben" and their mates, though an occasional read where they are the H & H (?) would be ok.

Marty - I suspect you're like me, you don't mind who the
main characters are as long as their story is interesting

RE: EXCLUSIVE
YOU GOT IT! I'll be the first to admit I don't have all the "answers to the mysteries of the world," but as long as the World don't bug me - I don't bug the World. I don't understand or get it, but I realize it is.

Marty - I love the romance of love stories, but as to people's
sex lives, my pov is that there are only two people about whose sex
lives I'm entitled to an opinion - mine and DH's. Anybody else, be they
family, friends or total strangers, it's none of my business. I may
HAVE an opinion, but unless (and sometimes even if) I'm asked to, I
don't have to express it. I can sympathise, understand, misunderstand,
approve, disapprove, it doesn't make a ha'porth of difference because
it's not my call.
When I had my first son, there was great relief
in DH's family because the family name was saved (only grandson), and
although it's an extremely common name, the direct line back to before
the French revolution was about to die out.
Then I threw a kibosh in the enjoyment with a comment "but what if he's gay, or joins the priesthood?"
Now
of course I've had two sons, but the comment still applies, we don't
get a say in our children's sexual preferences, all we can do is hope
they find someone to love who loves them back and treats them well, and
if they're lucky enough to find that rare gem, we should give thanks
rather than being unhappy because of that person's sex, race, religion
or occupation
So it doesn't bother me when a romance has same sex
partners, because a romance is all about love, and so that's my only
important criterion.
