#163 For Lust or Money by Kate Hoffmann (Blaze #356)

Actress Kelly is called to Atlanta for skits for the show and her co-actor is insulting and walks off the set so Zach, fascinated by this beautiful older woman, steps in to replace him. Kelly's career is non-existent so she accepts a friend's offer to stay and help out and when Zach realises she hasn't left, they become lovers. Kelly has hang-ups about being older and Zach gets jealous but inadvertently gives her career a boost. Will she stay in Atlanta to manage her friend's store or go back to L.A. and her revived career?
Her whiny angst got on my nerves by the end. I also didn't like Nicole pushing them into doing the show, or them for accepting it at that stage in their relationship. I felt it wasn't logical for either of them and would have expected it to cause a bigger rift. That spoiled my enjoyment of the second half of the book. I loved Zach but preferred the first half before the whiny angst wore off on him. Couldn't see why he wanted someone so negative, she was just annoying. Steamy sex scenes not enough to save the "very" before the "good"

Got Books?

I felt the books were better read one after the other

I think I would have gone nuts if I'd read them as they were published and had to wait a month between books
